Pollen Count II 29" x 36" Framed Original Watercolor Painting

$ 500 USD

In the spring, summer and fall, the air in the mountains where I live fills with seeds and fluff from the plants as they get ready to bloom, burst with color and then start making their preparations for a long winter. This activity can sometimes make the air sparkle with all the pollen and seeds making their way to fertile ground. This original watercolor painting is my take on that phenomenon in an abstract landscape kind of way. The oranges and greens in this original Western landscape artwork really pop and are sure to add a touch of interest wherever you choose to place this.

Mini Colander Spoon

$ 24 USD

Includes Shipping

A new item that I came up with when we needed a new spoon for the black olives that my husband loves -- a tiny colander spoon - slotted serving spoon or scoop for lifting olives or berries or anything out of juice to transfer it to your plate. A cute kitchen food prep item. And works great for lifting a teabag out of your teacup.

This spoon is approximately 7" long and around 2" across....it will hold three to six medium olives. I made it as durable as possible by embedding a wire between the bowl of the spoon and its handle but I still would recommend hand washing since something this small can easily get crushed or bumped in the dishwasher.

These are available in green, yellow, purple, robin's egg blue, red, peach and navy blue. Use the note to seller at check out to choose your color.

If you would like more than one, please give me a call at 970-846-9349 or visit this listing at my Etsy shop: https://www.etsy.com/listing/104594206

Wall Vase in Woodland Aspen Design

$ 175 USD

Add elegance to any room in your home or office with this tall hand built and carved ceramic vase. I built it from beautiful white stoneware clay, carving in the woodland design you see in the photos, including beautiful aspen trees and a cute owl on a branch.

For the color, I used a variety of stains and glazes, coating the interior and rim in a bright red.

This vase is measures 16" high by 3.5" wide x 2" deep. It looks wonderful filled with flowers and is a beautiful piece of pottery even when empty of blooms. It's both a wall decoration as well as a vase that can be filled with water and fresh flowers.

In addition to the pottery you see throughout this newsletter, you'll also find some original paintings. I'm a two-medium artist and have recently gotten back into painting using watercolor pigments on fine quality paper.

Artistic and functional, these ceramic colanders or berry bowls are just perfect for fresh berries starting to come in from the fields this spring.
I make them on my pottery wheel out of durable, white stoneware clay, incising decorative holes in the sides and lid to allow air flow and drainage as you rinse your berries or vegetables. And a little leaf shaped plate is included to catch any drips. At $65 for the set, these are affordable and unique.

I have these in a variety of colors in my shop online in my Etsy shop and physical shop in Steamboat Springs.
Art Cards are actually mini watercolor paintings done directly on Strathmore acid free card stock and come with a matching envelope enclosed in a protective cellophane sleeve. Blank inside so you can write your own message. 5" x 7" and suitable for framing. $10 each. You can find my full line of watercolor art cards here.

Bring the bright colors of summer flowers into your home or office with this original watercolor painting. Framed, it measures 14" x 17" and is very affordable at $120 for an original piece of art. You can find it online in my etsy fine art shop.

Or stop into my studio in Steamboat Springs to see many of the original works I have available. They can also be seen at Harwig's Restaurant/Gallery during July and in the Center for Visual Arts, both in downtown Steamboat Springs, CO.
