Cut Out Vase / Candle Holder

$ 55 USD

FREE SHIPPING

(Regular price is $105 with shipping)

This unique handmade vase features a wonderful purple glaze and an interesting and decorative design that allows the light to shine through.

The art vessel was thrown on my pottery wheel out of white stoneware clay. It stands 6.25" high and is 6" across at the widest part. I altered the form while it was soft and then started a free-hand design cutting out pieces of the clay to form this leafy, geometric pattern to follow the undulations I put into the shape of this art object.

This would be a wonderful piece of ceramic art for any room in your home or office. It looks great as a stand alone piece of pottery but also casts a wonderful shadow against the surface on which it is placed when you shine a light on it or place a candle inside. (I often display this with the battery-powered candles that give a realistic flicker with out the heat and mess of melting wax.

Visions of Sugar Plums Original Watercolor Painting

$ 200 USD

The snow, shadows, and dark and light colors in the forest in the wintertime is magical. This painting is one I did recently here in the mountains of Colorado trying to capture the subtle color changes of a winter forest scene.

This impressionist watercolor painting measures 20" x 23" framed (in the frame that is shown in the photo above) and would be a perfect size for a bedroom, hallway, dining area, office wall, waiting room, anywhere you need a splash of pastel interest.

I used high quality water color paints on 140 lb Arches acid free cotton rag archival quality watercolor paper. It comes framed and ready to hang on a wall in the office or any room in your home.

You can purchase this framed painting by clicking the Buy Now button and ordering through PayPal, or call me and I can take a credit card over the phone: 970-846-9349.

Mini Colander Spoon

$ 24 USD

Includes Shipping

A new item that I came up with when we needed a new spoon for the black olives that my husband loves -- a tiny colander spoon - slotted serving spoon or scoop for lifting olives or berries or anything out of juice to transfer it to your plate. A cute kitchen food prep item. And works great for lifting a teabag out of your teacup.

This spoon is approximately 7" long and around 2" across....it will hold three to six medium olives. I made it as durable as possible by embedding a wire between the bowl of the spoon and its handle but I still would recommend hand washing since something this small can easily get crushed or bumped in the dishwasher.

These are available in green, yellow, purple, robin's egg blue, red, peach and navy blue. Use the note to seller at check out to choose your color.

If you would like more than one, please give me a call at 970-846-9349 or visit this listing at my Etsy shop: https://www.etsy.com/listing/104594206

Set of 5 Nesting Bowls

$ 200 USD

Colorful, functional and beautiful, this set of five colorful nesting bowls are sure to be a hit whether you purchase for your own kitchen use or as a gift for a home chef, wedding or anniversary couple, or someone special to you who likes to cook. The colorful stacking bowls are artistic serving vessels and completely functional.

I made these bowls on my pottery wheel and then glazed each one in a different color that complements the color of the surrounding bowls. Very festive - and would complement any kitchen fiesta ware.

These are great for serving side dishes, sauces, condiments, or using as a personal bowl for soup, salad, ice cream.

The largest bowl is approximately 6" high x 9.25" across and the sizes gradually get smaller down to the littlest bowl which is 1.5" high x 3" across . Glaze colors are robin's egg blue, purple, yellow, green and red.

Artistic and functional, these ceramic colanders or berry bowls are just perfect for fresh berries starting to come in from the fields this spring.
I make them on my pottery wheel out of durable, white stoneware clay, incising decorative holes in the sides and lid to allow air flow and drainage as you rinse your berries or vegetables. And a little leaf shaped plate is included to catch any drips. At $65 for the set, these are affordable and unique.

I have these in a variety of colors in my shop online in my Etsy shop and physical shop in Steamboat Springs.
Art Cards are actually mini watercolor paintings done directly on Strathmore acid free card stock and come with a matching envelope enclosed in a protective cellophane sleeve. Blank inside so you can write your own message. 5" x 7" and suitable for framing. $10 each. You can find my full line of watercolor art cards here.

Bring the bright colors of summer flowers into your home or office with this original watercolor painting. Framed, it measures 14" x 17" and is very affordable at $120 for an original piece of art. You can find it online in my etsy fine art shop.

Or stop into my studio in Steamboat Springs to see many of the original works I have available. They can also be seen at Harwig's Restaurant/Gallery during July and in the Center for Visual Arts, both in downtown Steamboat Springs, CO.
