This Week's Special!

Double Bowl with Two Spoons

$ 35 USD

Regular price is $62 with shipping

What a handy little caddy for serving condiments, sweets, nuts, or sauces or salt and pepper. It's just a perfect size for so many uses.....even makes a cute dish for food and water for a small pet -- as a caddy for paperclips, rubberbands and push pins on your office desk.

I made this blue double bowl with a handle in the center as two bowls on my pottery wheel and then attached them and added a hand built handle. Each side will hold about 6 ounces of sauce, toppings, candies, whatever. I think it would make a wonderful serving piece for salsa and sour cream, dipping sauces for breads, veggies or fruit, a cute candy dish. It comes with a couple small spoons for serving spices, sauces or small candies or snack items.

It even would work as a nice piece of pottery in the bathroom (guest soaps, cotton balls, potpourri) or kitchen to hold salt and pepper or other spices. It also makes a wonderful little dish for water and food for a cat or small dog -- sweet!

It measures approximately 1.5" high x 7" long by 3.5" deep.

Can't you see this as a gift for a couple -- a housewarming, engagement, wedding, anniversary?

In most of the country, it's gardening time! And what better way to identify the seeds and plants you've put in your garden than with these cute garden markers? At $8 each, they are very affordable, and are designed for use year after year. I make them from durable stoneware clay and leave the back side unglazed so you can use a sharpie to make notes about the seed or plant you have in the garden (date planted, hybrid name, etc.) Each marker in the shape of a squash or tomato comes with a green hanger. I have lots in stock now, and am happy to custom make some for you with whatever wording you want.
These three handmade ceramic canisters are the perfect size to store flour, sugar, coffee, cookies, grains, pastas or anything else you want to have handy on your counter top.

I made them on my pottery wheel out of durable, white stoneware clay, adding hand built decorative handle embellishments on the sides and a matching knob on the lids. And I built three scoops that are included with it.

Note the carved woodland aspen forest design on the exterior. I used pottery stains for the color and sealed it all in with a translucent glaze. I used subtle colors on these that should complement most any kitchen color scheme.

The largest canister is 8.5" high X 5" across; the middle lidded jar with scoop is 7" high x 5" across; and the smallest one is 6.5" high x 5" across. They are nice and large and gorgeous!

These are very sturdy, durable canisters and can be cleaned in the dishwasher with no problem.
The three canisters are available in my shop both online and physical shop in Steamboat Springs.

If you are traveling in the southwest, you can see my new Southwest Desert designed pottery in person at Juniper Sky Gallery in Kayenta, just outside of St. George, Utah and at the Mesquite Fine Arts Gallery in Mesquite, Nevada. In addition to personal sized bowls, soup mugs, cups and plates, I've added some nesting bowls that are serving size. You can find them in my etsy shop here .

A perfect wedding gift! Personalized aspen log

Whether you're choosing a gift for a wedding couple, someone with a new baby, new home or new job, birthday gift, retirement memento or just some home decor item for yourself, these personalized aspen logs are sure to please.
They measure approximately 17" high by 6" across and come with a hanging wire on the back. I hand build these from white stoneware clay, incising the wording you choose while the clay is soft. You can choose leaf colors (or no leaves and branches) if you have a preference for spring, summer or fall colors.
Once you've provided me with the information for the log, it'll take about 3-6 weeks to have your log ready to ship (or pick up at my studio if you're in town). These cost $90 each, plus shipping of $15 to U.S. addresses via FedEx. I'm happy to include a card with a message from you in the package. Just let me know the wording.
You can see examples of my work in the Gallery here, visit my Etsy online store for a complete inventory of current pieces that ship anywhere in the world, or stop into my studio/gallery in the Pine Grove Center in Steamboat Springs, Colorado.
